What You Need to Know
Yes, Camp 2021 is in person!
August 1 - 6, 2021
Check-in time at NatureBridge is 3pm Sunday, August 1st, 2021.
Check-out time at NatureBridge is 10am Friday, August 6th, with a final concert that evening in Port Angeles.
Parents are welcome to attend free public performances on:
Thursday April 5th: Outdoor performance on NatureBridge Trail
Friday April 6th: Performance in Port Angeles at church or outdoors (exact location will be updated)
What are the dates of the program?
When is the application deadline?
All applications must be submitted by June 1.
Registration opens April 15.
We will accept the first 20 qualified students to submit applications, with priority given to Port Angeles musicians.
How much does this program cost?
Tuition: $1300 Room & Board: $ 395
Full tuition scholarships of $1300 will be awarded to ALL Port Angeles students accepted into the program.
Students living outside Port Angeles will be considered for awards on an individual basis. Contact Monique Mead to audition.
All students are required to pay $395 for Room & Board. A $90 non-refundable deposit is due April 15, with the balance of $305 due June 1.
Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds. If the above fee should cause a hardship for any family, financial assistance is available. Please contact Chuck Whitney.
Who can apply?
This program is for advanced string players, ages 13-18. Priority is given to musicians living in the Port Angeles area.
Do I need to audition?
Yes. All candidates must be approved by Monique Mead or Dr. James Ray. Once you have completed your application, we will request a video if we do not know your playing. All pieces must be recorded and uploaded by July 15 to secure your final acceptance and scholarship for camp.
