Eligibility:
Olympic Strings Workshop will accept up to 20 highly motivated students, ages 12-18 for the 2023 season. Preference and full tuition scholarships are offered to eligible students from the Port Angeles area who apply by March 31. Five spots are available to students residing outside the Port Angeles area. To ensure optimal preparation, all camp repertoire must be recorded and uploaded by July 20 to secure your final acceptance and scholarship for camp.

Audition Requirements:
In order to place you in a group with musicians at your level, all students must submit a YouTube link to an audition video with one solo piece and one scale of your choice. This should be recorded in one take with no editing. Please state your name, age, and the piece you're playing at the beginning of the video.
Fees:
Application Fee: $0
Tuition: $1300 (scholarships available)
Room and Board: $425
Activity Fee: $35
Payment Schedule:
$35 Activity fee due upon acceptance
June 30: 50% tuition, room & board
July 30: 50% tuition, room & board

Counselor Applications
We welcome advanced string players at least 18 years of age to apply as counselors for our Olympic Strings Workshop. Counselors receive full tuition scholarships and room & board (a value of $1760). They also receive coaching from high level musicians and a performance opportunity at Music on the Strait. Application requirements include an audition video and short essay.
Applications are due by March 31, 2023.
